Llety'r Wennol is located in beautiful open, rolling country at the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountain range on the outskirts of the village of Ffarmers, near the market town of Lampeter in West Wales.

The cottage, which has been 'Tourist Board Approved', is a renovated building on a mixed livestock farm with cattle, sheep and horses. The farm is involved in an environmental scheme that has seen old fences replaced, hedgerow renewal, encouraging new wildlife habitats and planting new broadleaf woodlands. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is ideal for bird watching (with the Red Kite a major attraction); walking and trekking.

 

It is also within easy reach of Cardigan Bay and the Brecon Beacons National Park; while the Pembrokeshire Coast and Gower Peninsula are also popular area for visitors to West Wales. It is an area of considerable historic interest with castles, churches and numerous other historic buildings and places of interest. The National Trust has several properties in the area.
